After a long cold winter, it feels like spring just appears out of nowhere, aggressively bright and cheery. The flowers are in full bloom and the city starts landscaping and making itself look beautiful. While I love this change in season, I am also bitter about how inauthentic and idealized this area becomes. Through the use of overly saturated and muddied colors I emphasis my feelings of gross artificiality about spring in Providence.
